Budgeter is a private, personal application used only by its owner. It connects to the owner's own bank accounts through Enable Banking, which acts as the licensed Account Information Service Provider (AISP), solely to retrieve the owner's own transaction and balance data.
With the owner's explicit consent given at their bank, the application reads account details, balances, and transaction history for the owner's own accounts. It does not initiate payments and cannot move funds. Access is read-only.
All data is processed and stored locally on the owner's own machine for personal budgeting and reconciliation. It is not transmitted to, shared with, sold to, or disclosed to any third party. No data belonging to any other person is collected.
Bank access is granted through Strong Customer Authentication and expires periodically (typically every 90 days), after which it must be renewed. The owner can revoke access at any time through their bank or through Enable Banking.
